They completed the 12 week classroom training plus the 60 hour volunteer service requirement. They are now officially Master Gardeners and received their orange OSU MG Badge! – Now the gens d’armes of family and community gardens and other worthwhile greenery!

There is soon to begin yet another Master Gardener Program starting up in January – the 2016 Master Gardener Program!
It is, as always, sponsored by OSU Lincoln County Extension, with classes
conducted at Oregon Coast Community College, South Beach Campus. They run Tuesdays from 9am to 4:15pm starting January 5th through the end of March. The tuition will bequeath upon you the growing power of the fertile soils of the Central Coast! $200 plus a volunteer service requirement – consider it an apprenticeship!
A few commercial slots are available at $400, with no volunteer service requirement. And a couple of partial scholarships are available.
Space is limited, so register early. Deadline December 21st.

It was a fun day full of festivities, scrumptious potluck, edible table displays and a food drive-180 pounds were donated to Lincoln County Food Share.
