Between March, 2015 and October, 2015 your Lincoln County Sheriff’s office investigated several burglary and theft reports in the north county area.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Larson was dispatched to a burglary that just occurred in the Lincoln Beach area and learned that the victim was following the suspect. Deputy Larson contacted both the victim and a male, later identified as Justin Fender, 34 years old male also of Lincoln Beach.
The investigation revealed Fender entered an occupied residence and took property from inside. He also entered a vehicle nearby and took items from it as well. The majority of the property was recovered and returned to its lawful owner.
Further investigation led sheriff’s deputies to execute a search warrant at Fender’s residence. The search warrant revealed multiple items that were previously stolen from local burglaries and thefts.
Justin Fender was arrested and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail on the following charges: Burglary I (two counts), Burglary II (five counts), Theft I (four counts), Theft II (five counts), Criminal Mischief I (one count), Trespass I (two counts), Trespass II (six counts) and Unlawful Entry into Motor Vehicle (eight counts). Fender’s bail was set at $1,070,000.00.
The investigation is ongoing and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is actively trying to return stolen property to its rightful owner.
