Local Businesses Excited to Be Part of Indoor Trick-or-Treat Fun!
A wide variety of local businesses have jumped at the opportunity to be part of the Trick-or-Treat Street happening at the 4-H Halloween Carnival this Saturday from 2-4pm at the Fairgrounds in Newport. Offered by 4-H youth and leaders as a service to the community and, if proceeds remain, as a fundraiser for 4-H, the event offers free admission to the trick-or-treating with games and other activities available for a nominal fee.
Businesses that are already onboard include KayBee’s Cakery, OSU Extension, the Animal Shelter, Walmart, Subway, Fred Meyer, Safeway, Pizza Me, JC Market, Pet Mart, Newport Rental, Shangri-La and Roby’s Furniture. “Storefronts” are being built by 4-H and decorated by the participants with exciting themes already emerging. Bigfoot Beverage is also a supporter through its donations for the ring toss carnival game.
So bring out the young ones for safe and dry fun at the 4-H Halloween Carnival and Trick-or-Treat Street. They are sure to enjoy the petting zoo, cookie walks, ghoulish games and many other activities.
