Wildland fire reported by a timber company worker at 2:40pm. Reports say they were evacuating employees, and it was a logging site near Fall Creek. Oregon Department of Forestry says the fire originated in the logging area.
The fire is burning in brush and timber about 15 miles east of Waldport. Several engine crews are on scene fighting the blaze. More ODF crews are enroute to the scene. Winds are sporadic making containment difficult. At the moment, the fire has spread out over ten acres of brush and trees.
