In celebration of the 22nd annual National Public Lands Day, the Bureau of Land Management’s Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area is hosting a fee-free day today, Saturday, September 26. Entrance fees will be waived. Special activities, presentations and volunteer opportunities will be available throughout the park.

Puppet Show: “The Battle of Plastic”
Performances at 11:15am and 2:00pm. Come watch Sandy Seal and her friends deal with an ocean of plastic while learning good ocean stewardship techniques.
Lighthouse Tours will occur hourly today between 11:00am and 4:00pm. Sign-ups for the 1885-era guided tours start at 10:00am in the Interpretive Center.
