Artists’ Reception: 5 to 7 pm on Friday, October 9
620 NE Hwy 101, Lincoln City Oregon
Photography! Up close and personal. During the artists’ reception, Donna McCoy will demonstrate how she uses a camera to explore the natural world. She loves being surprised by patterns, colors and textures that are revealed through the camera lens. Donna hopes that visitors to the gallery will enjoy seeing the details of marine animals as fine art through macro photography.
But that’s not all we have in store for the fall opening! Lyle Gowing will demonstrate the use of a floor loom, one of many used in the creation of his cozy woolen rugs. His woven creations give new life to salvaged fiber from Oregon’s famous Pendleton Mill.
Our gallery is unique: owned and run by local artists. Every three months we give the gallery a fresh look! As our guest, you are invited to preview the new work. Meet the member artists who create jewelry, paintings, textiles, metal sculpture, photography, glass, ceramics, vinyl art and more. Light refreshments will be offered.
We are pleased to host this event in cooperation with our neighbors at the Artists’ Studio Association (ASA) in the same building. ASA artists will provide information about upcoming classes and artwork available for purchase.
Across 6th Ave, the Lincoln City Cultural Center’s Chessman Gallery will host an opening reception for the exhibit “Nature Impressed.”
