THE PROBLEM OF AERIAL HERBICIDE (PESTICIDE) SPRAYING IN OUR COUNTY and many others, as seen in “DRIFT”, a short documentary created by U of O students ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE OF 30 CITIZENS OF GOLD BEACH, CURRY COUNTY, OREGON.
A DISCUSSION and FUND-RAISING EVENT for CITIZENS FOR A HEALTHY COUNTY, NOW INTERVENING IN A LAWSUIT SEEKING TO PREVENT US FROM COLLECTING SIGNATURES TO PUT OUR AERIAL PESTICIDE-BANNING ORDINANCE ON THE BALLOT IN MAY 2016.
Please join us to hear other people’s experiences with aerial pesticide spraying and so others can hear yours; to discuss the film; to talk about next steps to take in our struggle to protect the health of our citizens and our constitutionally guaranteed right to a safe environment.
