Oregon State Police say a 76 year old Sherwood man died after his pickup ran off Highway 18, 12 mile east of Lincoln City.
North Lincoln Fire-Rescue found a Ford F250 Pickup at the bottom of the bank of the Little Salmon River, upside down in the water. The driver, Ladrue CRAMER, age 76, of Sherwood, was initially determined to be unresponsive, then later deceased.
Preliminary information indicates CRAMER’s vehicle was traveling eastbound on Highway 18 when it drifted off the roadway. The vehicle continued off a steep embankment and landed upside down in the Little Salmon River. CRAMER was wearing his safety belt.
