The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office would like to remind everyone about the dangers of leaving pets in a vehicle when outside temperatures are high. Weather and temperatures can change dramatically in a short time frame, creating risk that wasn’t considered initally. A 72 degree day outside can become 116 degrees inside a vehicle within an hour.
