As most of you are aware, in May my Northwest Agent Orange Team, with the assistance of VVA Chapter 411 President Tony Molina, did an Agent Orange town hall meeting in Newport OR. Present at the meeting was Lincoln County Commissioner Bill Hall. Mr. Hall was so impressed
with the presentation that he gave his word to Tony and myself that he would go to the conference of the Association of Oregon County Commissioners and present a resolution that they support our Toxic Substance Research Act that is S901 and HR 1769. It passed.
I arranged for Mr. Hall to connect with our own Mr. Jack McManus in N. Carolina who assisted Mr. Hall with presenting the resolution to the National Association of County Commissioners in Charlotte through their Health Committee. It passed. We now have the support of County Commissioners across the U.S.
We all need to thank Commissioner Hall for his efforts. We should also thank Commissioner Hall for keeping his word to veterans.
