Lincoln County WIC (Women, Infants & Children) is going to be at the Lincoln City Farmer’s Market on Sunday, June 7th and Sunday, August 23rd from 9 am to 12 pm – also at the Newport Farmer’s Market, June 13th & August 22nd from 9 am to 12 pm.
WIC staff will be offering Farm Direct checks to families receiving WIC, and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. WIC participants can spend their Farm Direct checks on fresh fruit, veggies and herbs. Bring your WIC identification card.
The Lincoln City Farmer’s Market is located at 540 NE Highway 101, next to the Lincoln City Cultural Center.
The Newport Farmer’s Market is located at the corner of Highway 101 and Angle Street, across the highway from Newport City Hall.
What is WIC? The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) is a nutrition education program that helps families identify healthy nutrition choices that work for them.
