Healing Touch: Pain relief with acupressure
Join acupuncturist Seishiro Hokazono of Samaritan Heartspring Wellness Center on Thursday, June 11, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in the Education Room to learn how applying acupressure on yourself can help you relieve pain and foster a feeling of well-being.
Acupressure is rooted in ancient Chinese healing traditions and works by helping the energy paths in your body, known as meridians, flow freely. Come ready to learn and try out self-acupressure techniques wearing comfortable clothing. Healthy snacks will be provided.
Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
To register, visit samhealth.org/BeHealthy or call 1-855-873-0647 toll free.
Hokazono uses a combination of acupuncture, acupressure, Chinese herbs, dietary counseling, moxibustion and lifestyle counseling to produce the balance each patient needs to heal.
