11:10am- North Lincoln Fire Rescue is launching a water rescue for overturned jet skier.
11:18am- Two jet skiers about a half mile out from Inn at Spanish Head. One flipped over. Second jet skier still in the area. There is a whale watching boat near them that is being hailed to go over and see if they can determine what’s going on. Coast Guard racing to the scene.
11:21am- North Lincoln Fire reports that there are now two people on one jet ski so it might just be a mechanical issue. After the Coast Guard put out an all hail for boats in the area to intervene, two nearby boats now look like they’re headed in the jet skiers’ direction.
11:24am- Coast Guard helo enroute to investigate. Appears now that there is a small white boat and a jet ski involved. The jet skier is now headed away from the boat.
11:26am- Coast Guard helo is hovering over the boat.
11:27am- North Lincoln Fire Rescue has decided not to launch their own ocean jet skis.
12:00noon- Coast Guard and other vessels have handled it.
