Governor Brown’s first in a series of ethics related bills has made it out of the Senate and is now enroute to the House. The bills erupted after the John Kitzhaber/Cylvia Hayes scandal that forced Kitzhaber to resign as governor back in March after what was described as a number of blatant ethics violations threw state government into a political crisis.
