Legislators to reach out to Lincoln County with video conference at OCCC
On Monday, April 20, Oregon Coast Community College will host a live video conference with State Senator Arnie Roblan (Senate District 5) and State Representative David Gomberg (House District 10). The session will begin promptly at 5:30 pm at the OCCC North County Center in Lincoln City.
The legislators will provide an update of legislative activities as well as gather community input on pending bills and resolutions.
Those interested in asking a question of either Sen. Roblan or Rep. Gomberg may submit their questions in advance, or ask them directly, if time permits. Questions may be sent to Shirley Hill via email, at Shirley.firstname.lastname@example.org. Questions should be accompanied by your name and contact information.
“I’m pleased that Oregon Coast Community College is once again able to host this free service for our community,” said OCCC president Dr. Birgitte Ryslinge. “There is a lot of activity in the Oregon Legislature this session, with plenty of proposed bills that could directly impact the citizens and small businesses of Oregon’s central coast.”
The public is invited and encouraged to attend this free event on April 20 and to plan on arriving at the OCCC North Center at 5:15 p.m. The OCCC North County Center is located at 3788 SE High School Drive in Lincoln City. For more information, call 541-994-4166.
