A couple of BLM Rangers wanted to share this photo with us that was taken around noon Sunday at Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area just north of Newport.

Wind gusts topped 100 mph near the end of the headland at the lighthouse. The attached photo shows a wind gust speed that they captured of 101.1 mph!
