Every one is invited to Environment Oregon’s “Go Solar Town Hall” meeting happening at the Oregon Coast Community College campus in Newport on March 18th, 6-8pm.
We have an amazing opportunity this year to re-power Oregon with clean, renewable solar energy by passing a series of bills through the State Legislature that would bring us 10 times more solar power by 2025. Not surprisingly, big utilities and polluters are already lining up to stop our legislators from acting.
At the community meeting, you’ll hear members of www.CascadeCoastSolar.com, local elected officials, and solar advocates about the possibility of empower Oregon with clean, renewable solar energy. And yes solar panels work on the coast. Click here. And you’ll have the chance for all of your questions to be answered. This event offers a great opportunity to educate yourself about current opportunities for solar energy and the future potential of solar power in Oregon.
