Coming up just in time for daylight savings time, is the Toledo First Weekend Artwalk. All the usual suspects will have their stores and galleries open, along with much spontaneous artwork along privileged thoroughfares.
The first artist to hit us up for a shout-out is the ever productive painter of the great outdoors and everything that lives in it or glides through it – Ivan Kelly:

Featured at Ivan Kelly Studio – Gallery will be his painting, “The Challenger,” 18 x 24 oil. For Ivan, the key to nature is that it is free and protected. Big game are depicted in a natural ambiance and life is captured on canvas. Moose are now in Oregon too. Ivan’s big game oils have been featured in the International Wildlife Journal of Arts. Ivan is an American and part of his new works displayed will be “Pacific Venture” 12 x 16 oil depicting a fishing boat. Ivan was juried into Society of Marine Artists “Signature Member” since 2000. Enjoy art talk and light refreshments with Ivan. His gallery will be open from 11 to 5 on Saturday and noon to 5 on Sunday and is located at 207 East Graham Street, one block above Main Street.
