Those who imagine that if anything can grow on the Oregon Coast, then why not grow your own vegetables? If that’s you, but you don’t know how, here’s some information that will get you going in the right direction.
An Organic Food Bed workshop is being held at the Sustainable Living Center of Oregon in Lincoln City, Sunday, February 22 from 1-3pm. You will witness for yourself how to assemble a 4 foot organic food bed built and placed on a deck or any other open area.
Those who attend the workshop will see how to transform any open space into an organic food producing powerhouse – free of pesticides, synthetic hormones, antibiotic residues and no GMO’s. They’ll learn how to reduce their grocery bill, enjoy fresher fruits and vegetables and begin to see results in about a week!
Imagine, fresh salads this spring and luscious vegetables all summer long!
The Sustainable Living Center is just south of ProBuild at the south end of Lincoln City, right on Highway 101. Just park your vehicle in the ProBuild parking lot and walk the short distance to the center.
And! If you feel a little brave, and you bring an electric drill, you’ll be given the opportunity to build your own 4 or 6 foot Organic Food Bed. Materials are available on site.
To register for the workshop, just email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
