LINCOLN CITY – The Lincoln City Cultural Center is proud to announce the return of Matt Snook and Steve Blanchard, playing a variety of stringed instruments and singing their way through an eclectic catalog of bluegrass and Americana.
Collectively, they are Slipshod, back by popular demand as part of the Weekender Concert Series on Saturday, Feb. 21. Tickets for the show, which begins at 7 pm, are on sale now.
Matt and Steve, both traveling members of the Northwest bluegrass community, met many times over the years, at festivals and such. They found they have similar musical styles, yet they draw on many different influences, including Gordon Lightfoot, Norman Blake, Simon & Garfunkel and Tim O’Brien, just to name a few.
Tickets for Slipshod are $12 in advance and $14 at the door, on sale at the LCCC box office, 541-994-9994 or lincolncity-culturalcenter.org. The box office accepts VISA, Mastercard and American Express, as well as checks and cash.
Doors will open at 6:30 pm. A selection of Northwest beers and wines, My Petite Sweet cookies and bars, and Mountain Man savory snacks will be sold before the show, and during intermission. For details and tickets, call 541-994-9994.
