U.S. Congressman Kurt Schrader spoke on the floor of the U.S. House today complaining about tactics which are used by some members of Congress when they want to slip in approval of controversial issues by attaching them to popular legislation.
In this case immigration reform. The GOP wants funding for Homeland Security, which runs out at the end of the month, to be approved only if President Obama reverses his executive order to allow responsible tax-paying immigrants and their families to stay in this country while deporting those who are not.
