Sarah Dauenhauer was booked into the Lincoln County Jail early this morning following last evening’s high speed chase northbound on Highway 229 – then off onto a logging road east of Siletz. Dauenhauer eventually rolled her vehicle but was uninjured. She was brought back down out of the mountains by her OSP pursuer. The trooper recognized her earlier driving on 229 south of Siletz, turned around and went after her. Dauenhauer remains in the Lincoln County Jail on a no bail warrant (drugs), reckless driving, trying to elude law enforcement and possession of methamphetamine (meth).

OSP is in pursuit of a possible wanted person in a green Dodge northbound on Highway 229. The chase is headed through Siletz. Stay clear and stay off 229.
Blowing through Siletz.
Turned onto an eastbound logging road at milepost 18.5, near Siletz.
Its a female driver. Car rolled but is back on its wheels. OSP has her at gunpoint.
She’s out of the car and on the ground. Not injured.
Driver now complaining of a head injury. Saying she’s dizzy.
OSP is hauling her out on his own. Will get her checked out. She’s a wanted felon according to reports.
OSP has her cuffed in the pack of his patrol car. Meeting up with paramedics to check her out.
