It is that time a year again, the time volunteer firefighters put aside their helmets and bunker gear, and put on aprons and pick up serving utensils for the North Lincoln Firefighters Volunteer Association Annual Firefighters Ham Dinner, which has been running nearly 60 years.
The 58th Firefighters Ham Dinner will be showcasing not only lifesaving information and equipment, it will be serving a newer and improved menu. The event,, held at Taft High School on Sunday, February 15th, is reinventing itself in a “retro” kind of way to be an “olde tyme” community event that fed over 2,000 local residents and visitors in days gone by! Pictures of old – of firefighters, apparatus and events will greet visitors this year which marks the 50th Anniversary of Lincoln City and Seventy Five years of volunteer firefighter service in North Lincoln county.
Come join your volunteer firefighters in celebrating and enjoy a feast for yourself and your family. Tickets are $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 12 or under. Kids 2 years and under EAT FREE! Funds support the North Lincoln Fire and Rescue Volunteer Association, which purchases much needed equipment in our District!
