A fire at the GP plant in Toledo has burned three workers, one more severely than the others. The severely burned is said to have serious burns to his face, arms and hands.
Unconfirmed report is that it was an electric caused burn.
GP workers inside the plant say the three injured workers were not GP employees. They were contract workers from out of town, working on specific equipment. That’s the word from GP families.
The three burned workers were contract employees working for the Olson Industrial Electric of Eugene according to official Georgia Pacific sources in Atlanta.
Medical helicopter airlifted one victim to a trauma burn center.
