Hi All –
The next City Council meeting — Tuesday evening, January 6, 7:00 pm City Hall — features the changing of the guard. It begins with the outgoing Council, as our final official act, approving the minutes of the last meeting. Following that, the incoming Council takes their seats and begins their governance of our town. The agenda includes many organizational items, among them electing the Council president and making Councilor assignments to committees and other responsibilities. The complete agenda is attached.
This will be my last email meeting notice. It has been my great honor to have served on Council for seven years and trying to keep you informed of the important work that Council does. I encourage you to attend meetings whenever you can and get to know your Councilors and the many issues they must deal with on your behalf. Your opinions matter and your presence informs Council’s deliberations.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you for so long. I shall continue my commitment to Depoe Bay through other projects and organizations and I look forward to sharing them with you as time passes.
Be safe and enjoy today.
