Oregon First Lady Cylvia Hayes may have blurred lines of being First Lady and running a private business from within the walls of state government.
After being made to wait a very long time for access to public documents, the Oregonian says it has uncovered evidence that First Lady Cylvia Hayes blurred her role as Oregon’s First Lady while also being the top executive of a private environmental protection firm she owns based in bend. The Oregonian also strongly infers that there may have been additional possible ethics violations as she was also an advisor to her fiance, Governor Kitzhaber.
