Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched early Sunday morning to a report of an armed robbery that occurred in the area of Gleneden Beach Loop and Highway 101. Deputies immediately responded and made contact with four occupants of a vehicle on the side of the road who again stated they had been robbed at gun point.
The victims told deputies they were headed south on Highway 101, south of Lincoln City, when another vehicle pulled up behind them and signaled with flashing headlights. The driver of the victim vehicle turned onto Gleneden Beach Loop and pulled over to the shoulder. The following vehicle stopped as well, but blocked them in so they couldn’t leave. Three males then got out and confronted the victims with handguns and told them to turn over their valuables. The victims complied. The gunmen then left northbound on Gleneden Beach Loop in a dark colored car. The suspects were described as three Caucasian men, middle aged with medium builds.
