Lincoln Soil and Water Conservation District’s Annual Native Plant Sale for Conservation is planned for Saturday, November 15th, from 10am-4pm at the JC Market parking lot near Newport’s Candy and Quilter’s Cove, at 23 N Coast Hwy, Newport.
There will be hundreds of native shrubs, trees, ferns, and flowering perennials chosen for riparian, urban garden, and forestland areas. Stock will be 1 gallon down to 4” pots. All proceeds will support the District’s Habitat Restoration Program which works to enhance and restore riparian, wetland and fish and wildlife habitat throughout Lincoln County.
Native plants are a great choice for water conservation and disease resistance.
