Family Promise of Lincoln County is urgently seeking a permanent space for a Family Day Center.
In June of 2013, Family Promise received a generous offer, from a local resident, to fill this need. However, after 13 months of waiting for renovations to be completed, we are unable to occupy the space. As a result, the lease agreement between Family Promise of Lincoln County and the location on SE 48th (formerly the Taft Fire Station) has been dissolved.
“We are proud to say that through great partnerships with local churches and the business community we have sheltered seven families since June, helping them achieve independent living. As the weather gets colder we are preparing for an increase in immediate need,” explains Hanna Connett, Family Promise Founder and Board President. “It is critical that we find a permanent space that is financially viable and can meet the needs of the families we are serving.”
Family Promise is currently serving families in a temporary location on SE Hwy 101. This lease expires at the end March of 2015, which is quickly approaching. In order to continue servicing Lincoln County Families, Family Promise needs a location that will fulfill the needs of the organization and be affordable.
