Dave and Niki Price and Joey and Lori Arce-Torres will be the next Celebrity Server teams to help Family Promise of Lincoln City at the fundraiser on October 30, 2014 at the Eventuary. The event will feature pasta dishes created by Kip Ward from the Historic Anchor Inn.
Family Promise of Lincoln County is a non-profit organization that mobilizes communities, local groups, congregations and social service agencies to provide shelter, meals and help toward stable, long-term housing for families with children who need a “hand up.”
As Celebrity Servers, the teams will serve you meals priced from $10-$13 per person paid to the Eventuary. Then, any tips or bonuses are paid to the servers and donated to Family Promise. The husband/wife teams will be competing to see who can raise the highest amount of donations, so it should be a lively, competitive event.
Does Dave Price have an advantage after helping at several events at the Eventuary previously? Will the Arce-Torres team break ahead with donations from some of the teams that Joey coaches combined with Lore Arce-Torres clients coming to stack up the funds? Or will it be Niki with many contacts from the Lincoln City Cultural Center who will put her team over the top?
If you have ever tried Kip’s wonderful pasta and miss it, this is the place to be. The menu will include: A pasta main dish, caesar salad, garlic French bread and a yummy dessert. Your choice of spaghetti or penne pasta and choice of vegetarian red sauce, meaty red sauce made with pork sausage, a white clam sauce, or even a choice of two sauces over your pasta will all be available. A special entrée is Kip’s vegetarian lasagna. Bar service is available separately.
