The National Weather Service reports that the big surf off the Central Oregon Coast will subside a bit over the next couple of days, but will reappear on Wednesday with swells to 16 feet and 35 mph winds. Thursday high surf continues building to 18 feet on Friday with stronger winds.
At 4pm all Oregon bays and jettys were closed to all except commercial fishing vessels. All recreational and charter vessels are to stay in port. Do not cross the bar.
