Toledo artist Michael Gibbons offers “Headland in Mendocino” as one
of his five traditional oil paintings to be shown in the 2nd Annual
Invitational Art Show & Sale at the Favell Museum in Klamath Falls September
27 through October 25, 2014.
Noted for Western style and Native American Art,the Favell Museum also shows contemporary work of a different genre in this Show. A Signature Member and Winner of the National Oil Painters of America, Chicago Award of Excellence and the Mystic, CT Stobart Foundation Award, Gibbons will participate in the Saturday September 27 Plein Air Paint Out at the Favell and Reception for the artists Celebration that culminates later in the day in a Silent Auction.
Live music and complimentary refreshments are a part of the festivities. The public is cordially invited to all events. A ticketed Champagne Brunch is offered Sunday morning September 28th, Sunday morning, from 10:am to noon. Michael and other artists will also be available to talk about their art at that time and throughout the day.
