Hi to All —
This city council meeting is crowded with important topics. Among them: the Fish Plant lease agreement; the ODOT Letter of Understanding 2015-18 for the Highway 101 South of Bridge Streetscape Project; the Oregon State Marine Board Pumpout and Dump Station grant opportunity; the agreement for law enforcement services with Lincoln County Sheriff’s office, and the offer of a property gift to the City from the Granat Living Trust; Please join us for these discussions.
Other topics include the Wastewater Advisory Committee recommendation on the request to review our agreement with Gleneden Sanitary District and the request to schedule the Salmon Bake and Music in the Park events for this year. The complete agenda is shown below.
One final note: There will be an empty seat next to me Tuesday evening. You may know that Skip Hoitink is deceased. Skip’s loss hurts us all. His family and friends are devastated and our town has lost an unceasing advocate who worked tirelessly to make it better. Skip’s only agenda was to make our city the best possible place for all of us. Let’s hope that we all can move forward with Skip’s zeal and affection for our town and his caring and respect for his constituents and fellow public servants.
Be safe and hug a loved one,
