The Toledo Public Library, a big supporter of the arts has, under the direction of Peter Rayment, Past Library Director, started a Permanent Collection of Art for the viewing of the community. Continued by Deborah Trusty, Library Director, the Collection is growing and includes the work of Karen Fitzgibbon, who works in mixed media/clay and wood.
Michael Gibbons, Douglas Haga, and Ivan Kelly, all artists of Toledo, are Founders of the Art Walk which will celebrate the 21st year showing the art of Toledo artists and their invited guests.
A group of original paintings by the founders will be shown this year at the Library which will be open 1:-5:00 pm Saturday Aug. 30, Sunday Aug.31 and Monday Sept 1 , Labor Day for Art Walk 21.
