A bad accident on some backroads south of Highway 20 has badly injured one person who is being ground transported to a spot that a medical evacuation helicopter can land. This evening the fog is very bad clear up to Eddyville.
9:07pm A helicopter trying to rendezvous with an ambulance has pulled the plug on landing, saying visibility is not good enough to land at Blodgett. So the ambulance is going to continue lights and sirens to the trauma center in Corvallis. There may have been more than one occupant in the car that crashed near Harlan and Updike Roads, high in the mountains south of Highway 20.
