Waldport: Traffic collision on Alsea Highway – 31-hundred block
Traffic crash Alsea Highway 34, just east of Waldport Wednesday.
Mother and infant in the car. Not injured.
Forklift type vehicle in the ditch as well down the road. Not related.

2:56pm Report of a traffic collision in the 31-hundred block of Alsea Highway just east of Waldport. One reported injury. At about milepost 3. Just east of Eckman Lake. Toyota Highlander vs. a Chevy SUV. Both Vehicles in the ditch.
3:03pm Eastbound lane is shut down. Watch for flaggers.
3:17pm Turns out there are no injuries. Mother and infant transported to nearby campground as tow trucks remove the wreckage. No word yet on what happened.
3:18pm Forklift in a ditch down the road not related.
