SBDC satisfies hunger for learning.
What’s more appetizing than affordable, convenient business and technology classes in the summertime? It’s affordable, convenient business and technology classes with cheeseburgers!
That’s right – this summer, the Oregon Coast Community College Small Business Development Center is presenting a series of Thursday afternoon classes featuring cutting-edge instruction and piping hot, fresh-from-the-grill cheeseburgers, hamburgers or veggie burgers.
“We know it’s tough to make time for a business class in the middle of the peak season,” said SBDC director Dave Price. “That’s why we’re upping the ante. If you’ll make time for these 2 to 5 p.m. classes, held on selected Thursdays this summer, we’ll make dinner for you.”
Price will be grilling dinner to order for participants during each of the Thursday classes (six are scheduled thus far, see below). Meals will include veggie or regular burgers, along with chips, veggies and soda.
Here’s the tentative schedule:
Classes are held on select Thursdays, from 2 pm to 5 pm, at the OCCC Lincoln City Campus, 3788 SE High School Drive. Each class is $30, except for the “10 Must-Have Mobile Apps” class, which is presented free of charge. Discounts are available for those taking more than class. Enroll in two paid classes for just $45, or 3 for just $60.
Call 541-994-4166 to register, or visit www.oregoncoastbusiness.com to apply online or to learn more about each of the classes.
