A message from Depoe Bay City Councilor Barbara Leff:
Hi All —
This Tuesday’s meeting includes the Public Hearing on the proposed City budget for 2014-2015. You may want to comment–pro or con–on the Mayor‘s announcement at the last Council meeting that he will not vote to approve or fund the proposed renewal of the Chamber of Commerce contract to advertise Depoe Bay unless Council changes the budget to include a $5,000 donation to The Kids Zone.
The Fish Plant is again on the agenda. At the last meeting, citizens spoke both in favor of and against seeing the building repaired and re-opened as an operating fish plant.
Other agenda items include an update on medical marijuana facilities and land acquisition for parking. The complete agenda is attached.
Please come and let us know your position on these and other City issues. Your presence and your opinion are important assets to our deliberations.
Thank you to those of you who made it to the last meeting.
Anyone who wants to receive these emails—or NOT receive them—can let me know by email and I will add their name or delete it from the group.
Thank you and Enjoy Today!
