Loving What Is
From Newport Senior Center
Do people bug you, make you crazy, or push your buttons? Enjoy a more peaceful life by learning the simple “Work” of Byron Katie, author of the book “Loving What Is.”
The Work® is a method of self-inquiry for questioning the thoughts that cause emotional suffering. We find that it isn’t what is happening “out there” but rather our own reactions that are stressing us.
Tuesdays, 2:00 – 3:30 pm, beginning June 3rd at the Newport 60+ Center, this 7-week personal growth series of classes will be led by facilitator Christine K. Thomas. Participants will discover the life-changing power of inquiry, and explore issues such as fear, health, relationships, money, the body, and more.
This course is being offered free of charge. For more information, contact Christine at 541-270-1703, or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
The 60+ Center is located at 20 SE 2nd Street in Newport next to the city recreation center. Give us a call at 541-265-9617.
