Family Promise of Lincoln County has announced the selection of Cathe Smith as the new manager for their Thrift Store located at 5030 SE Hwy 101 in the Taft area of Lincoln City.
Cathe Smith will be managing the donations, sales and volunteer staffing needed for the store. Smith is a long time resident of Lincoln City and a graduate of Taft High School. She has been working in stores at the Outlet Mall since it first opened and also owns Atlantis Plumbing.
Cathe decided to focus her volunteering to one area combining her desire to help others in the community with her retail experience. “The Thrift Store position is a perfect marriage,” stated Cathe Smith. She already is making headway at the store with her motto of “There is a home for everything.”
Linda Roy, Family Promise Director says, “I am so excited that Cathe is here. Her skills, talent, friends and energy are perfect for the job.”
Family Promise of Lincoln County is a non-profit organization that mobilizes communities, local groups and congregations and social service agencies to provide shelter, meals and help toward stable, long-term independence for homeless families.
