R/V leaves northbound 101 just north of Yachats
An R/V with what appeared to be Alaskan plates, was headed northbound Tuesday afternoon just north of Yachats, when for some reason, drifted off the right shoulder, ploughed through the brush and then hitting some trees which finally stopped it.
Emergency responders quickly got the elderly husband and wife out of the vehicle. Neither appeared injured.
No word on what caused the R/V to leave the road.
Authorities on scene said they were going to have to call for a large “semi” grade tow truck to free and then haul out the R/V.
Special thanks to photographer Ken Gagne who got the photos for us. Shows he can shoot everything from seagulls to baby goats, wild elk to Killer Whales – even news!
