Children’s Advocacy Center Appoints Development Coordinator
The Children’s Advocacy Center of Lincoln County Board of Directors and Executive Director, Pam Salisbury are pleased to announce the appointment of Liz Martin, as Development Coordinator for the agency.
In her new role as Development Director, Liz will be responsible for developing and coordinating a comprehensive development program that includes fundraising, building donor relationships and recognition, and enhancement of outreach for the Center.
A third generation resident of Lincoln County, Liz brings a wealth of knowledge and involvement in our community. Her passion for helping children is evident in her dedication and volunteer work in the community. She is currently a board member of the Lincoln County School District and Neighbors for Kids. As a school district board member, she is site council parent representative at all schools in the district west area and is also involved with the ASPIRE Mentoring Program at Newport High School. She serves on the Lincoln County Workforce Investment Board, and is a member of Altrusa International of Yaquina Bay.
“I am so excited about this new opportunity to make a difference in our community. The Children’s Advocacy Center is providing needed services for child victims of abuse, as well as training adults in our County in how we can prevent abuse from happening,” she said.
“My determination and dedication has led the way for others in the community to understand they too can make a difference. I look forward to meeting new people and joining with others in making Lincoln County a better and safer place for our children.”
