From Lincoln City Community Center
A Kids’ Garage Sale will be held from 9am to 3pm Saturday, April 19th, in the large meeting room. This is a great opportunity for youngsters to do some “spring cleaning” and trade or sell old toys and outgrown clothes. Tables are just $5 each, and children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult during sale hours. All items should be in good condition, and everything must be removed from the Community Center at the end of the sale. The event is part of the city-wide Great Oregon Coast Garage Sale weekend sponsored by the Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce.
A Children’s Parade will get underway at 10 a.m. at the entrance to the Community Center. Kids of all ages are encouraged to decorate bicycles and wagons, build floats, show off pets, wear costumes or don their finest attire for this pre-Easter parade. The parade will circle the entire park block and children will be on the sidewalk the whole time. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a parent. The cost is $5 per entry, and prizes will be awarded for the best entries.
Pre-registration is encouraged for both the Kids’ Garage Sale and Children’s Parade. Sign up at the Lincoln City Community Center, 2150 NE Oar Place, or call 541-994-2131 for more information.
