April is a time to celebrate the important role that communities play in protecting our children. We encourage all individuals and organizations to play a role in making Lincoln County a safer place for families. We strap children into car seats, we walk children across busy streets and we ask teenagers questions about where they are going and who they will be with, all to keep them safe. As a community we must raise awareness and strengthen families in our efforts to prevent child abuse and neglect. All adults can make a difference in our children’s lives. Help keep our kids safe!
