Stinger came unhooked

Motorists were greeted with this unusual blockage across Cedar Street in Waldport Monday afternoon. The owner said the trailer’s “stinger” came loose and the trailer went down an incline, ran off the road and jumped the sidewalk.
There didn’t appear to be any serious damage and luckily no cars were coming, according to a witness.
