Oregon State Health issues 8 marijuana dispensary licenses. 22 more on the way.
Eight new medical marijuana dispensaries got the green light Friday to open up their products and services to the public, as long as a customer has a medical marijuana card. The communities getting the first out the door status are in Portland, Salem, Bend, Eugene and Hermiston. Twenty-two others will soon open once they get their security systems installed. Twenty others were denied a license because they either didn’t have all their paperwork done or were too close to a school or another dispensary.
