Oregon Public Utilities Commission to Pacific Power: More information, please.
The Oregon Public Utilities Commission (PUD), which reviews rates of Oregon commercial power companies, is apparently in a bit of a stand-off with the PUC over divulging how much information it makes available for review. The PUC says Pacific Power, which is heavily reliant on coal fired power plants, needs to show more specifics in their overall strategy to mitigate green house gases that such power plants are notorious for putting into the atmosphere.
Pacific Power serves the north area of Lincoln County, including Lincoln City, Salishan and Lincoln Beach.
