A moderate to strong earthquake struck northwest California Sunday evening at around 10:18pm. The 7.0 Richter quake rattled cupboards, dishware, books and other things that weren’t tied down from San Francisco to extreme southwestern Oregon.
There were no reports of any fatalities, serious injuries nor any major property damage. Residents described it as a long, slow moving quake. NOAA said NO TSUNAMI was generated by the quake.
