The Clay Studio at the Lincoln City Cultural Center
Clay Open Studio
Session 1: Tuesdays, 9:30am-12pm, April 1-22
Session 2: Thursdays, 6-8:30 pm, April 3-24

For the month of April, gather once per week in the clay studio for guidance and instruction and utilise the studio during other designated times for independent work. Projects will be of the student’s choosing and may include sulpture, functional ware and Raku. For those with previous experience, instruction could also include basic throwing on the pottery wheel. Cost is $45 plus materials. Clay is available for $15 per 25lb bag. First-time students should plan to purchase a tool kit for $18. All levels are welcome. 7-9pm, one Friday per month
March 14 & April 11

Get creative with clay in this one night course. Learn the basics of handbuilding or wheelthrowing while having fun in our relaxed classroom environment. Use underglaze and slip to decorate your pieces, and we’ll add clear glaze, if you wish. Cost is $15 and includes materials and firing for up to 2 pieces. We’ll contact you when your pieces are ready for pick-up. Invite your friends for a more social experience or come on your own. All levels are welcome!
