The Lincoln City Super Auction II, THE SEQUEL— Coming February 15th
The Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce presents Super Auction II, the sequel to more than forty annual fundraising auctions in past years, benefiting the Chamber and its many civic programs. Bidding will begin Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 9:00AM and continue until 10PM.
For those who prefer the “up close and personal” element of an auction, the public will be welcome to experience Super Auction II, live at Chinook Winds Aces Bar and Grill (3245 NE 50th). Of course, if rubbing elbows isn’t your preference, go to the Chamber’s website at www.lcchamber.com or listen in to KBCH AM 1400—phone in hand—to participate from the comfort of an easy chair. Lots of options!
Something new has been added this year: A Preview Party, Friday, February 14 from 5:30pm – 8pm, also in Aces banquet room. Come for a free up-close look at auction items while enjoying appetizers and a no host bar.
Executive Director Nonni Augustine is “looking forward to a great time. This event is totally community oriented—All our donation are from friends and local businesses. Our cameras and webcasting equipment comes from Taft high school; all our camera operators, phone handlers, board attendants are volunteers from the community. They volunteer because it is so much fun.
“We want to acknowledge and thank our sponsors: Chinook Winds Casino Resort, Charter Communications, Diamonds by the Sea, Taft High School, and KBCH AM 1400. We so appreciate their generosity and expertise, without which we would have no event at all.”
As in the past, this is a dynamic event, listings can change—so be sure to check the website, Facebook or call the Chamber office with any questions. Volunteers, as donations, are still and always welcome. Photos of items will be posted on the Super Auction Facebook page.
